The Student Government Association (SGA) Elections will take place from April 6 to April 10, 2009. The UTEP SGA represents over 20,000 students and handles a budget of over $70,000. In order to maximize the quality of the SGA administration (and consequently the student body), it is imperative that every UTEP student intelligently participates in SGA elections and affairs.
In order to help students better inform themselves about their presidential candidates, the Regional Identity interviewed the three candidates about their party platforms and goals.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that on my video on youtube it says I am from the M.A.D.E. party. I just wanted to make sure you changed it to the C.H.A.N.G.E. party. The videos look great though, thanks!

Ms. Nico, the change was made. Sorry about that! We copied the descriptions over from the previous candidate video and we forgot to edit that section.
Good luck. Remember everyone, go vote!

I wanted to remind everyone to please vote for SGA elections. Whether you vote for PIC, MADE, or CHANGE, let your voice be heard on campus. Be sure you choose the candidate that will best represent you and the student body. Polls close tomorrow April 9 at 5 p.m.
