The Regional Economic Development Association won first place at the College of Business Student Organization Fair for best overall presentation.
As the first place winners, REDA will be gifted $1,000 from the Business College Council.
The table was a “stars of El Paso” theme that merged the symbolism of the Hollywood scene and the famous El Paso star on the mountain. The table featured a handcrafted and painted El Paso mountain with an illuminated El Paso star. The table also displayed the 2009 REDA Organization of the Year trophy, the 2009 REDA portfolio, and the newest REDA commercial /promotional video.
The REDA table attracted a great student turnout. Over 50 students signed up to receive REDA information and updates via email. The signers will be contacted tomorrow (Thursday, September 3).
